Mr. Milner Gets Divorced is coming out April 30! This prequel to Mrs. Milner Gets a Kitchen is a slow burn, second chance angst-fest featuring all of your favorite drunk friends. Preorder is coming soon! So I did a fundraiser with @fandomtransmandom last month and he described this book as a series of spicy stories about trans men and the sexy, supportive cis guys who are just really fucking into them. And this is SUCH an apt description. Just a lot of really great consent and thoughtfulness, accompanied by a whole lot of fucking. 😉 So glad I was able to enjoy another local author for the 'thon! After much excellent advice in the stories, I have decided to enroll in @romancelandiauni with a Chaos Syllabus™. This means that I shall control for my mood reading by not assigning myself any commitments, thereby ensuring I shan't discourage myself from reading books I very much want to read. (It's like as soon as I identify the book I want to read, my brain goes "YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!" I theorize this is some sort of residual aftermath of actual university.) I had great fun reading A Vow Made Twice! I really enjoyed seeing both gender fluidity and polyamory addressed in a historical setting. It was very angsty up front and then the fun began. I got everything I was looking for and cackled at all the Easter eggs from Denny's previous books. A great way to kick off #TRR26!!! A humble consideration for your #TRR TBR. I had this vague ambition that I would release Mr. Milner Gets Divorced as a St. Patrick's Day holiday book because there's a big scene set at the bar on St. Paddy's, but I didn't get my shit together in time. So I come to you with this paltry offering, and the news that the manuscript is officially off to betas! 🥹 I'm excited to participate in the #transrightsreadathon this year!
